Challenge
In what may be the most competitive aisle in every supermarket, Canada's largest juice manufacturer needed to successfully compete with the U.S. powerhouse brands. Their U.S. introduction of the Fruite brand needed to simultaneously target a combination of challenging customers: youth ages 5-14 and their parents.

Solution
Kids want taste. Moms want to buy what their kids will drink. And a positive sampling experience is the single most motivating way to drive a purchase. So the development and implementation of integrated multimedia and promotional programs included aggressive sampling efforts. Teams of highly entertaining and interactive sampling crews spanned mega events as well as community soccer fields. Supporting efforts included an on-pack promotion ("Win Some Wheels" giving away a Jeep Cherokee and four mountain bikes), radio and FSI advertising.

Result
The combination worked. We generated double-digit sales increases to secure a greater market share than Hawaiian Punch and Sunny Delight in less than two years.
