Communicating Value

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

This week we launched the new website for Conlin Health Care, which provides quality in home care throughout the greater Boston metropolitan area.

One of the messages they wanted to express through their new site is value. So we evaluated what their customers’ value most, and we evaluated what Conlin’s competition is communicating.

To be relevant, credible, and differentiating, we developed “campaign-like” messages in the new site’s headers, leading with the primary value statement, “Because of Conlin, I’m home, where I belong.”

Of great importance to customers is the essence of what Conlin provides: a service that enables their clients to live at home.

As you peruse the site, you’ll see other messages in the header that continue with and build on the theme, “Because of Conlin…”

Please visit ConlinHealthCare.com and let me know what you think of the site. I value and welcome your thoughts.

Life-Saving Dogs

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

Joe-Keck-120x200I recently attended an event of NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans, which celebrated the new teams of their highly trained assistance dogs and their Clients.

One woman, sitting in a wheelchair, spoke about her first assistance dog as she lovingly held the leash and the head of her new assistance dog. She said, “These dogs changed my life. In fact, my first dog saved my life…literally.”

I’m helping NEADS grow and plan for a future that’s even more exciting than what they’ve done over the past 33 years, and I’m donating some of my services.

As we move into this season of being thankful and cheerfully celebrating holidays, please share a little bit of your treasure with NEADS. You’ll be supporting an organization that rescues dogs…dogs that saves lives.

Please visit this page of mine and a special message I have for you.
